At first I thought her hair was brown and I was seeing backlighting from the screen or something. Then it looked a bit red. Then I saw pink. All I could do after that was look at her hair and try to understand it.

I don't know, when she said she enjoys following the rules because it makes her feel like a good girl, I believed it. You may be right, but the actress does a decent job selling the Whedonesque lines. It could all just be the accent though.

I have no doubt that Mae could be a great character if the writers gave her ANYTHING to do besides fighting, flying, and glaring at Coulson.

It's Wednesay, which means Arrow! The Tomorrow People! Criminal Minds! Wait, I'm not supposed to like that last one…

See also: Arrow.

The only times it has been this good were Annie Parisse's Kara/CIA arc and the end of Season 2 with Root.

Simmons continues to be my favorite part of Agents of SHIELD. Her scenes with Skye *almost* made Skye bearable.

Great episode. Loved how Jackie switched sides to Diane because she seems like the natural winner. Also, did anyone else feel like Kate was coming off as a bit of a bully? The way she kind of cornered Diane in the kitchen with the fake lice shampoo made her seem kind of mean.

Christy did say she never finished high school when she was crying about not being a psychologist. We also actually don't know if she owns her home or rents it.

Yes. The Yale graduate/MIT dropout who apparently twerks.

BERT!

I'm from Lexington, MA originally so I love all the references on this show. The British in fact DID take Lexington insofar as they won the battle there with ease and then proceeded to Concord, where the Minutemen defeated them.

I'm really glad the show clarified his position. He easily could have been a villain or other third party. I loved his line "I need to file a report"

Agreed. This episode was a cut above the rest. Favorite moments include Crane shouting at the tour guide that Revere never made it to Concord (which he pronounced as Con-chord instead of Conquered), the skull destruction attempts, and Crane's "hogwash" response to Jefferson and Hemings.

I hope they don't retcon Robin and Marshall meeting the Mother as well. It worked here, but I'd rather they replicate how Lily met the Mother.

I think part of the whole "better than SHIELD" thing is that some shows are much more confident in themselves. SHIELD really feels like an identity crisis, probably from way too much network interference. It just sort of sits there, and I'm saying that as someone who likes the show. Compare that to Arrow, which knows

Cara especially is coming together as a character. My god, that last scene with her in episode 5.

I'm not sure exactly when Nikita jumped from good to great to amazing, but you sure are in for a treat. The only rough patch is the beginning of Season 3, but by then you'll be hooked :)

Next week on Once Upon a Time: Neal goes on an adventure to find drinking water, Snow White tries to find the trail that requires cutting the fewest trees and shrubs, and Prince Charming's shoe laces are untied, causing him to fall and get dirt on his face. Meanwhile, Pan discusses his plans with Felix the Lost Boy
