I found both Brenda and Lisa hard to stomach, but for deeply different reasons .

I thought Six Feet Under was really awkward and obvious for the first few episodes but found a strong voice by the end of the first season.

Yeah, Falco's performance in this episode is one of my top ten all time favorite performances by anybody in anything.

I especially enjoyed getting the omniscient narrative in the back end of Season Four as Johnny sets Carmine and Tony against each other, with literally no other character ever gleaning what he's up to. That despite not *remembering* liking this season that much, it has quite a few of my favorite moments and episodes. Like a lot of folks here I'm excited to read about "Whoever Did This" next week.

Yep
I find with every season there end up being patients that feel like a slog, and others that are totally captivating. Right now I'm falling half-and-half with this season.
