Maybe this show needed Walter as the main character. Go the fish-out-of-water route with the show.

If this show gets a second season, it's because Disney owns the property.
I don't know if I really care who the big bad is anymore. It's too convoluted and uninteresting. I still enjoy watching the show, just because I want to know how the arc is resolved, but after watching tonight's episode and reading the theories, I don't care much about Zoom.
I wonder if early in story development, the birthmark played a larger role…
What if… WHAT IF… Stanley's memory came back just as the bus was pulling away? How heartbreaking would that have been?!?
So… are the Alabama Shakes popular? Do people think thy're good? I'm asking because I seriously don't know. I never hear people talk about them beyond their performances on late night talk shows.
I might agree if it wasn't for the synopsis for the next episode.
No, he doesn't know. I don't think he ever knew. I think the actor who plays Josh is bad, and people thought he was giving subtly in his performance, but script-wise Josh is supposed to be oblivious.
To a point…
But it's not going to happen. She's going to get a happy ending, unless this show ends on a cliffhanger and doesn't get renewed. Hell, Walter White even got a happy ending on BREAKING BAD for what it's worth…
So is every episode going to be a two-parter? These missions aren't exciting enough for two hours in each time period.
This show is nowhere NEAR on par with Fresh off the Boat or even Modern Family.
I'm really glad he was asked if he likes what he does and not about Black-ish. Oh, wait…
"Galavant continues to push the diversity of its musical genres"
So, is this show just getting Bs because of the Claire/Dean stuff? Because nothing about this episode was bad to me…
I guess besides the two shows' tones, the mystery of Gravity Falls interests me more than the gem threat in SU, which never feels like a real threat. I never eel like the danger is real for any of the characters.
YES! "Childlike earnestness" is a perfect way to describe the show's tone! I guess I need some cynicism in my entertainment. It's weird to say that and see it written, but… yeah…
It's even worse when many of my college friends just ADORE Steven Universe. I really wanted to love it, as to have something to talk to them about. But I guess I can't force it on myself. Yeah, Gravity Falls… if it's not your thing, y'can't force it..
Oh, this show's back. I guess I'll check it out… when I get to it. After the last few episodes and the long break, I think I've just about checked out. It's good for a children's show, but when I have people my age (mid-20s) telling me it's one of the best shows on television, it turns me off of the show. Especially…
I thought it would have worked fine as a plot point if it had been directed better. It didn't look like interference so much as him actually telling her off.
