Any film that more than one reviewer compares to "Crash", I have no interest in seeing.

How the hell would saying that I think some other Orson Welles films are better than Citizen Kane be "edgy and controversial"? (And who actually "liked" your pointless comment?) It's a fairly common opinion. Many people, though I'm not one of them, think that his best film is "The Magnificent Ambersons."

That's an extremely reductive take.

80s Scarface is not a remake of 30s Scarface.

Film Forum sucks. Shitty seating, dirty, poor sound and image, and terrible audiences - the kind of people who laugh at everythng in order to prove how much they "get it" (whatever it may be).

The reviewer said "proletariats." I think he meant either "proletariat" or "proletarians."

Psycho is great and The Birds is fun, but neither is very representative. My favorites include The 39 Steps, Lifeboat, Rope, North by Northwest and some others, but honestly I'd recommend the 1950s version of The Man Who Knew Too Much, with Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day.

It was only because of Michael Hutchence that I learned what tha was.

Worst, most-unclever name for a band ever. The band's name was the one thing that kept me from wanting to listen to their music.

I've seen everything by Hitchcock, and it is not one of his top ten, for sure, for me. Don't feel bad about not liking it. I don't know how many directors agree, but Martin Scorsese for one thinks it's overrated.
