Didn't see Cuba's yet. I appreciated the pun factor of Hurley's, which made it more clever than the Tibet one from Hutton I thought.

I think they'll both suck, Thor moreso than Capt. America

I liked the volkswagon darth vader kid ad. While I get Sar Casto's point of the kid who would become darth vader being the beginning of the end for it being cool, I just remembered my childhood loving darth vader and it all.

Summertime Rolls = my favorite JA song.

I'm with Lone Audience for sure. If I pay 20 or more dollars to see a movie in my house, I'm buying the fucking blu-ray. For 25-30 dollars, that better be a digital download I can rewatch. No fucking way am I spending that much. I'll spend that much to bring the family to a movie, but not for my crappy home tv.

being self depreciating makes him more endearing than being a pompous dick, but his "I'm a lucky lazy slacker who made it" schtick has a lot of truth to it. So much that I think he squandered his potential to grow as a comic writer and director, and now he is limited by his own joke of limited talent. Maybe he

of course, all the professed love of her willingness to get nude is meaningless since this is guaratneed to maintain a pg-13 and while that rating used to mean one decent, if brief topless scene, prudes of america have spoken and nipples are forbidden.

I'll add my love for the movies liked by others above mentioned, and through in a few cents towards his Vampires, though it may be that I just liked the book enough and kept picturing more of the book than was in the movie. A decent little vampire action flick. I've not seen Assault, but Escape, Halloween, and Thing

It is my understanding that Schwimmer has used a bit of his "Friends" money to back the Looking Glass Theater in Chicago, which has had a number of quite enjoyable shows that I have attended at reasonable cost and with great seating in an intimate environment. Based on that understanding, I'm quite happy to have

TCM is showing the original tonight, so I plan to watch that then this tomorrow, and ratings boards will always give more leeway in the US to heads getting blown off than folks just getting blown. it protects the children.

Goddamn did I love Master of Magic and Master of Orion (II more than I). X-Com could still make me jump a bit as I walked my guys one square at a time only to have some bug pop out and take a shot at him. Age of Wonders was a decent replacement for MoM, but damn I loved that one. I've seen something called Elements

uhm…yeah it is.

Earthen Ring/Marvegul(a)-Kazaxzuul(h). I'm an altaholic and might free transfer my horde to another server to make room on both, but I'm paid through and april and quitting then anyway to get some semblence of a life back in order.

what the fuck
Odin lamenting the horrors of war? What the fuck happened to Valhala, where heaven is nothing but feasting, fighting and fucking? Asgard was way too shiney. Bring on the war and the grim.

Yeah, I don't think meth culture was the point of Winter's Bones. So, accuracy is on the side. I do look foward to your criticisms of future Breaking Bad seasons though.

Bring back Pierce
for every one of you fuckers putting True Grit on the list. you know, 'cause it's not out yet.

@ Persimimon - yes, the 1st season largely parallels the first book, and while some plot points in the books have also been in the seasons, major factors have diverged, including the books taking a supernatural tweak and then retreating from it like a bunch of knights before a killer rabbit.

and I was just thinking there was an appalling lack of bare breasts this season, whether or not Dexter was in the scene.

I liked Anubis Gates, but it's been long enough that the details are foggy in my memory banks. I actually have Last Call on my bookshelf waiting to be read, so I've vote for it on wrapped up in books, since it's one I can actually get to.

@zebbart - he has commented. Someone on the first page posted a link. LP is "Spin" there, as I recall.
