not to mention that he was supposed to have a lie detector built in as part of the super hearing he carved out from the red neck mechanic woman way back when. she was able to tell he was lying to her based on heart beat changes, whatever. but then again, he's not been sensative to sound since using it as a plot

more like half-brother I'm thinking. Otherwise, why would the boy child of the neighborhood slut know where to find Sylar's father.
Though I didn't notice the boy's lips move when he "said" that the school chum he hit called mom a whore, so I thought his or her power must have been some sort of telepathy.

I liked her in Six Feet Under as well, though I liked that show a low generally.
"They're just nipples David. Everybody's got them"

oh shit. I did forget the semiseasonal "[insert amount of time] ago" episode. Likely to coinside with the "[insert amount of time] from now" episode.

and wasn't it pg-13, which when kids start getting interested in sex anyway? allusions to sex are what we get in pg-13. I remember when pg-13 usually had a couple of good nipple/breast shots, i.e. doc hollywood. fucking pruding mpaa fucks.

OK, specifically Peter and Claire:
Case in point
Claire to Peter on phone (paraprhased) "Nathan and your mother are up to something that they didn't want me to hear and are after Parkman"
Peter "just chill out, I'll talk to my mother and get some answers"

Echos of Joe Pitt fandom. My only annoyance at reading Half the Blood in Brooklyn was how quickly I got through it. I've not read his other stuff, but they're lined up for eventual purchase.

and do we not get reviewed? it's got a wider release, though perhaps a less promising premise, yet no review? how can we go see it and then come back to yell yay or nay on the taste and judgement of those who get paid to write what we read while getting paid pretending to do what those getting paid to write do? Or

Isn't Rhona Mitra the new Kate Beckensale in the Underworld prequel, the connection to this movie already pointed out by reviewer and commenters? I'd seen the lycan rising preview and thought, Kate looks a bit off, and isn't she not supposed to be around during the uprisng, but then I saw I different casting call and

I too am an 13th warrior fan, and read and enjoyed the book. A more faithful adherence to what they were in the book would have made the movie a bit better, but it's all around goodness.
Pathfinder is like any other lone warrior hunting down the slayers of his village movie. It's not good, but I don't think as aweful

Cautious optimism is the way to go. Hope is not too high, so there's not much falling involved, and if it is excellent, then exceeding one's expectations is always bonus. I generally have no love for gravy on food, but emotional gravy is a-ok. Plus, I liked 300, so I'm ok with a comic recreator doing his recreator
