I can't be the only one who had a mini freakout when I realized that Stan was with Martha, and Philip mentioned he was going to her place that night. I had no idea Hans was looking out for him, so I thought it was all going to fall apart in that moment, with Stan seeing Clark and being like "um, Phillip?"

Britta and Chang standing at "The cops are here!" was my Have To Pause Because I Can't Stop Laughing Moment of the Week (HTPBICSLMOW).

I think we've distorted the original definition of "auteur theory" over time, correct? From what I recall, it was applied to filmmakers like Howard Hawks and John Ford, filmmakers who weren't simply a strong creative voice, but someone who could also fashion any material they were given (no matter who wrote it) into a

Ah. Interesting. Makes sense why Chuck would have to go outside and get his "poison," rather than just turning on a few lights in the house.

No, I completely agree. My thought was more me being a jackass and wanting Jimmy to do my bidding since I was so floored by Chuck's devastating betrayal, rather than what was right for Jimmy. The fact that he still brought over ice and food, while knowing the whole time what Chuck had done says a lot about his

I don't even know if this was possible (not sure of Chuck's full situation), but I wanted Jimmy to go outside and flip a switch and turn Chuck's electricity on so badly after that confrontation. It infuriated me for all the reasons you state.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I can't even imagine watching this show week to week. I doubt 100% that it would have been as successful as it seems to have been. Funny, but the weaker storylines and jokes would have really stood out. Now, it's all a part of one 6.5 hour long continuum, and we can pick and choose what

Someone clearly isn't a Daddy's Boy fan.

Isn't Steve McQueen: Vampire Edition the actual grandson of Steve McQueen?

My backlog is why. So many games. I feel guilty even playing MH4U right now, but alas, this is where we are. Maybe someday, as I've heard nothing but great things about it.

Sadly, my copy is long since traded away, but I will definitely consider a re-buy if MH4U ever grows dull. Might as well find reasons to justify my New 3DS XL purchase, right? Especially since I probably won't be buying Xenoblade Chronicles…

Resisted the urge all week to buy Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate but I caved and will probably put far too much time into it this weekend. I previously played MH3U on the 3DS, but hated the stupid camera control scheme so much that I barely made it past the first few big monster hunts, despite really enjoying the

This is the only game I have ever almost fallen asleep during. I kid you not. Rented it from the Redbox, started up the first chapter and nearly dozed off during the opening cutscenes. And it was in the middle of the day. Not sure I'll finish it. Wasted potential is the best way to put this. I pray RAD gets a chance

See, I disagree. A game locked at 30FPS is smooth; it's just not fast, like 60FPS. Most games we hate that are running at "30" are fluctuating downwards, which causes them to feel not smooth. Sadly, this is what most games running at 30 do, so I get why people are complaining. I'd love for less graphic powerhouse-ness

Oh no! Really? That bums me out. I hope she's doing okay.

All this did was make me wonder why Katee Sackhoff hasn't had an amazing post-Battlestar career.

In my heart of hearts, Whiplash wins everything it's nominated for.

I almost did this very thing just this weekend (The Hustler was in between). Glad he won, but it was for the wrong film, for sure.

Just watched this not less than a week ago. Loved it hardcore. Can't believe I'd let it elude me for so many years, despite being on my radar of must-watch films. Loved the sound design and the editing in particular, on top of everything else.

No exactly. I wasn't so much upset that they killed Tracy as I was with the fact that they killed Tracy, divorced Robin and Barney (who we spent literally an entire season waiting to see get married), and then hooked up Ted and Robin all within the space of less than one episode. It felt sloppy. Tracy became a
