Interesting. That makes sense, though I also agree that Trump wanted Andretti to just have more swagger, generally. Secret IndyCar-related hatred is way more juicy.

Thaaaank you. That's what it was!
Nice catch!
Arnett has definitely been the bright spot in some of these so-so episodes. That whole "beast" thing was pretty great, too.
I was wondering whether it was hearing-related too, but it seemed like it just took him a minute to realize that, oh yes, the gun show is up my sleeves. Also how great was it when George Takei bugged out about Ferrigno taking his shirt off?
That was amazing. He's worth keeping around just to embarrass people in the board room.
Truth. It was probably wishful thinking.
I also noticed that all the models (and apparently Tookie) had different colored eyes, as some sort of shorthand for "unique rainbows of personality." And Lisa as the whacked out Madonna and child? Also, early in the episode Laura was veering into Brittney Spears barefoot in a gas station chic.
I was noticing that too! Also constant lip curl? It was like her face was some ill-fitting jeans that she had to keep pulling on. Or something.
I also support this theory.
She's growing on me, much as I hate to admit it. Though isn't Jayonce what they're calling the little Jay-Z to be?
What is the point of a one-liner you don't laugh at in a comedy show?
Man, I wish that I had been offended. The problem with the jokes wasn't that they were about vaginas or dicks or just tooooo outrageous and shocking, the problem is that they just weren't funny. And The League, whatever its failings, usually makes plenty of funny dick jokes.
I got that—but did it even seem like Ruxin was actually annoyed at it? It just seemed like he wouldn't care enough to go to the extreme of hate-painting his own driveway. And yeah, the whole plot was telegraphed in. The period thing was just the first of many THIS IS A JOKE jokes.
Nice catch!
"Illiterate wolverine." So. good.
True! Thanks for the correction
Lord, I didn't even think about that but you're right—that was some true J-Roc territory! I think odds are, as a funny person and Canadian, he has seen every episode, wasted, at least 7 times.
Also, when they gave Sheena her mantra it was "unexpected." Asian! Totally unexpected! Though I guess the whole Kayla comment and the studious not-mentioning of why Isis is inspirational means that they're trying to move away from the whole token model thing. But yeah, I agree. It's surprising.
True! What was with her tears over that Meg Ryan haircut? I also liked that Lindstrom told her "Nothing you say is of value."
