Attila really isn't bad at all. It's a product of its time, being the circa 1970 heavy rock with a Hammond Organ sound (closer to Deep Purple minus the guitar solos) and if Billy Joel wasn't in it, it wouldn't get all the hate.

That audio is from a real show, apparently. It's Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum that yells "Fuck you" to the cop.

We want to be free to ride our machines without being hassled by the man. And we want to get loaded!

"Grown-ass man" has got to be my least favorite terms of modern jargon.

Damn and Blast.

I remember The Living Years being played alongside really shitty 80s soft music like Steve Winwood's Valarie and Elton John's Sacrifice.

I think he pretty much said those exact words before it came out. I give him some props for being straightforward by stating that most of his fans wouldn't like it, but he wanted to do it anyway.

Though it has the most anti climatic battle scene since Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Wisconsin: 'Tis A Silly Place

It amuses me how much of a backwater Chicagoans think Milwaukee is. I was talking to one who absolutely flabbergasted that they found a Thai restaurant up here.

As a lifelong resident, it's underrated for sure. But the cultural scene really isn't as big as it should be. Every few years something comes up, be it an event, festival or film that is partially shot here that is said to kickstart everything, yet nothing really ends up coming of it.
Though this has to be one of the
