@avclub-2d0cca95ad6a2061d208d765e79af478:disqus  I guess it just seems wrong that she'd buy into a "deep down we are similar" statement.

The use of Looking Down A Barrel Of A Gun is worth the price of admission.

I still love it, but watching it now, it is amusing how even the supposed "lower class" characters practically live in mansions.

I actually hated that resolve for that episode. It seemed a bit out of character that she would be reassured by Brittany telling her that she's "human or whatever", when the whole point of The Misery Chick was that Daria just wasn't like everyone else.

Any mention in the Bugle about Berlusconi going to prison?

Been a while since I've seen it, but I think it was because he didn't really know who he was in life, so he subscribed to a romantic notion of nature which involved an animal that he wanted to prove was "misunderstood".

SWITCHER!

BALK AT OZ RETURN

Herzog's "ecstatic truth" train of thought deserves more attention. I dislike cinema verite style for overemphasizing "reality" (or as he puts it, the accountant's truth rather than a deeper truth.) His documentaries do have a bias-Grizzly Man for example, is not on the side of the subject's actions, but the film is

That Eight Bells track is pretty awesome! I'll be looking forward to the Intronaut album coming out next week.

Argh, beat me to it!

That's how I felt about the past decade. Lots of orange-skinned oily women with hair bleached to the point where it was almost white. Future generations will wonder if there was a nuclear war or if men of this era liked to jack off to negative photos.

John Zorn!

Elvis Costello loves it for some reason.
