It's very important to project your opinion of things onto the people who like those things.

For me, the really heartbreakingly romantic part of it is that they realize and decide very early—like right when they meet—that it can't happen. And at different moments each realizes that was probably a mistake, but never at the same time, and neither ever dares to break the unspoken agreement they made…

It's my favourite movie of all time, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Rabin's right, everybody else loses.

I don't disagree, but the first John Wick killed the dude's dog to create pathos.

That Arrival turns out to be a stealth Vonnegut story was one of my favourite movie surprises last year.

I'm sorry, how would you interpret "It passed the Bechdel test. That alone made it better than 9/10ths of other American movies."

This is the funniest show on television and it's not even close.

Yeah that's a beautiful dilemma, maybe they should have made the movie about that instead of about averting nuclear war(?) somehow.

The Bechdel Test is an important rhetorical question to ask about every movie, but defining the success of a film entirely on whether women speak to each other is very limited and very stupid.

It should lose to Jackie anyway.

Mickey looks like Gillian Jacobs, though.

The trailer even had the "Damn, how do I figure her out!?" groaner, which… Fuck that Love, why not just have two interesting characters instead?

So Daniel Stern is Liam Cunningham now? Because that looked like Liam Cunningham.

Any info on when the next book is coming out yet? I'd love to read it before we get into yet another season on HBO.

You guessed it: Gethin Anthony

Should of cast Stallone.

That sounds pretty ironic to me.

Don't click?
