The New Caprica episodes of Battlestar were worth any amount of disappointment that came later on.

I never really watched Roseanne. But she was actually pretty funny on the Larry Sanders Show.
John Goodman.
How can you not like John Goodman after seeing him in all the Coen brothers movies? How can you see him as Walter Sobchak and not freely give him a lifetime pass? He could star in a Carrot Top trilogy and he would still be ok in my book.
Also I am fascinated by the unorthodox use of exclamation points by mbs above.
Michael Jackson makes me realize that pedophilia, or even suspected pedophilia, is one of the few ways to get a lifetime pass rescinded. I just can't defend him no matter how awesome he used to be.
The Burbs.
Anyone who was in the Burbs gets a free pass. That includes Corey Feldman. Although every Tom Hanks movie I see, I just end up wishing it was more like the Burbs. Castaway would have been much better if he had some crazy gravedigging neighbors on the island.
Yes to Martin.
Anyone who ever says that any moment of Dark Side of the Moon is bad (I'm looking at all you Money haters out there) automatically is disqualified from having or recieving or commenting on those who have recieved a lifetime pass. And all your relatives are also disqualified. And everyone you ever knew, know, or will…
Man. Its so trendy to hate Dave Matthews. You know, not liking an artist because of all the people that do like them is just as trendy as liking someone because they are are played on Top 40 radio stations. To all of you that don't like DMB because you really don't like the music—you are completely entitled to your…
Great show. But perhaps it does help if you can remember the eighties. I grew up in a small, all-white town in the eighties and this show is almost painfully accurate.
Surprise.
Wow, what a surprise. The atheist hipsters at the AV Club and the AV Club messageboards had a bunch of negative and snarky things to say about a movie that had something positive to say about religion and spirituality. Well I guess its time to break out the old copy of Religulous again.
Panic Switch
I don't know what everybody's problem with Panic Switch is—I think its pretty good. It isn't my favorite on the album, but it is still good. And people are making too much of a comparison to Smashing Pumpkins. The resemblance is there but the Silversun Pickups have their own feel. I thought Muse sounded a…
I agree with the NewsRadio comparison. The tone isn't exactly the same because NewsRadio is more farce-like with just a few important sets, but there are similarities. There is the whole mentor relationship between Jack and Lemon, similar to Jimmy and Dave. The egotistic star (which can be Tracy or Jenna, similar to…
