Q-Tip has said that he actually did all of the production work on Tribe's early albums even though the credit says "Produced by A Tribe Called Quest". Later it was him and J Dilla as The Ummah. Shaheed didn't do much. The evidence is the consistent quality of Tip's post-Tribe work versus the lackluster quality of

McCartney still wrote MOST of the albums. He steered the direction of those albums. What is your point? I'm fully aware that John Lennon was a songwriter. Replying with just names of songs that Lennon wrote is useless. If you're trying to prove that it was Lennon that was greater creative force behind those albums

Monty Python were friends that became a comedy group. Idle, Cleese, and Chapman went to Cambridge together while Jones and Palin went to Oxford together. The five of them worked on numerous shows together before they became Python. And Kids in the Hall were together for five years before they came to TV. They didn't

Cecily is not Latina. I read it in an article in the Chicago Tribune. People think she's Latina because of that Latina character she did, I think, once.

"Revolver continued the change…"

Noel Wells is a quarter Latina but she looks white so she wins!

There's nothing particularly trippy about Rubber Soul. But it's definitely the first step in the incredible artistic growth they continued for the rest of their time together. Revolver continued the change but by Sgt. Pepper it was complete. Either way, McCartney wrote most of those albums as well.

Sgt. Pepper, the beginning of the "bowl-smoking" era, exists because of Paul. He wrote most of the songs himself and created the concept.

Someone forgot to flush you down the toilet, Asso Wipo.

"Why aren't you fired yet?" I say this every time I read a write-up by Phil Dyess-Nugent.

Somebody forgot to tell Phil that he writes for a major entertainment review site. Somebody else forgot to fire him.

Wow, you mean you actually wanna stick to the premise of this feature unlike other the writers?

So is this what we can look forward to in the documentary?

Donna, your writings equaled the quality of the show's writing. You are the ONLY TV Club writer that made me notice things I didn't catch and see the series with a wider scope instead of just repeating what happened. Your write-ups actually added to my enjoyment of arguably the most enjoyable TV series ever. Thank you.

You forgot that Tony Danza was on the show. No one is less interesting than Tony Danza.

Yeah, he's 79 and he's playing a different kind of character. On Just Shoot Me, he was the head of a fashion magazine. His hair was coiffed and his wardrobe was sharp. On The Goldbergs, he plays a suburban grandfather in the 80s.

Isn't that the point of being the boss? What boss does everything on his own? What boss didn't get lucky breaks?

Donna, always so well-written, observational, and passionate. Phil Whatever-Thefuck does not deserve to share the same space with you.

Could you pass this good idea along to the tech guys? Or is that not your purview either?

Yes, it's just her picture.
