i used to go to the IMAX (in london's waterloo) a lot when it first opened and there were no films to do it justice. there were only animations explaining what the potential of this new type of 3d would be. it was so awe-inspiring that i would bring my friends to come and see this new cinema magic.

i saw this at a preview screening. when i told my friends it was worth it just for the visuals they laughed. such a terrible script such a fun watch!

i agree. spending extra money for pretty credits is a bit of a waste. having also seen it in IMAX i'd say don't bother with the extra expense.

same here. i saw prometheus with a friend who had never seen 3d. he was so excited he wanted it to be at the IMAX. e was underwhelmed by both story and visuals. there were a few (animated) moments of interest but the rest was just 'so what?'.
