i have loved viewing the whedon projects to date except the dollhouse. i agree with eclectic eel. dushku is great as angry, shouty kick-ass girl but not much good an actress in any other role.

i am a bit surprised that you say women don't enjoy this show. i really look forward to watching it. i think your thoughtful recaps (and the comments) are great as they help illuminate the fantasy / reality angle of the show. it is far more complex than the title suggests.
