Gotta say Lurk, I never got any sexual tension between the two of them.  SPOILERS:  The closest Kira gets to any sort of positive groove with Dukat is wry amusement that he would be so brazen as to even attempt to flirt with her and later (and very, very temporarily) develop a grudging respect with regard to his

I don't recall anyone who has actually.  I've seen some chirps at Cirroc Lofton's performances, but I think he's got his moments.  I really enjoy the Jake/Benjamin dynamic because this show is ironically stronger about showing families living their  lives than any previous "Trek" show.  Also, one of my favorite things

Consider the fact that the whole thing is a horror story when it comes down to it and its even a bigger mindscrew for any kid tuning in; perhaps far more disturbing than the Ixthultu sequences-  a sepia toned gangland zombie revenge story in part one introducing us to Solomon Grundy (you have guys dumping a body in

Its also another instance of how damn spot on fantastic the animation was for this series, because Superman's facial expresion, his lifted eyebrow, the shift in his shoulders as he looks up at the heavens (or whatever the hell it is they're standing in) exasperatedly and exhausted with the bullheadedness of the people

You know what, doesn't matter in the end- Cthulhu's name is supposed to be so powerful and so difficult in the human tongue that if one said it correctly there's actually a chance he'd show up- sounds like Dwayne just didn't want the big guy busting into his apartment.  Who knows? He probably pronounced it correctly!

@avclub-e5e75678d9346d88878b7c95b97eac68:disqus - Oh lord PK Tech Girl…. if that's the average Klingon tech I'm hopping a shuttle to Q'uonos right now.

Forget the accounting.   Every recall seeing a Klingon technician?  That's one thing that bugged me ever since TNG.  I don't often do this b/c I think tv shows, movies, games etc- should not have to rely on books to fill in gaps, buuuut, if you like, I would check out Peter David's TNG books- specifically Imzadi II

@Lurky:  David is referring to Altman's movie not the TV series.  He plays Father Mulcahey (sp?)- but blink and you'll miss him.  He's very quiet and mostly there to look stunned when Hawkeye & co. do something insanely inappropriate.  Mulcahey didn't become a more recognizable, forefront character until the tv series.

I've been stubbornly trying to like Farrell and her character, and though she can get some good moments in, particularly her nonchalance in the face of sheer oddity, overall I've had to admit she's asked to do a great deal during the course of the series that she is unable to convey.  I recall a ritualistic speech she

How can you?  Avery Brooks dialing up the Brooks-O-Meter to a window-shattering 11 in full archvillain mumu regalia?  One please.

Any episode where we can watch Gowron's eyes impossibly strain to leap from their sockets and strangle whatever it is they are looking at automatically hoists it into the "Best of" pantheon.
