Every time I watch an episode, I find something I hadn't noticed before that cracks me up.  Today, that moment was when I was watching "Broadcast Wagstaff News" and noticed that Andy and Olly did their news audition in front of an image that looked like helicopters flying over the Vietnam War.

The description of Beaumont's decline in the Zicree book was very gut-wrenching, especially the part when he started crying to his friends about how he could no longer go to the movies with them—his favorite leisure time activity—because he could no longer follow plots or keep characters straight.  They think it was

Fuck, you had to go with that screenshot.

Facts of Life had some really bizarre subjects for VSEs.  Tootie is loosing her hearing, Blair finds out her grandfather was in the KKK, Tootie has an obsessive crush on Jermaine Jackson . . .

Any episode of Nothing Sacred, the show starring Kevin Anderson as a liberal priest that got cancelled because of a campaign from the Catholic League.  (I guess any episode that you can actually get your hands on.  Some of them are available in the archives at the Paley Center in NYC and the Museum of Broadcast

She had a blink-and-you-miss-it role as an anti-choice clinic protester in "If These Walls Could Talk," sweetly wishing "Good Morning" to the clinic staff one minute and screaming about "baby killers" the next.  Very chilling.

Skeeter was Scooter's twin sister.  Robot Chicken had a sketch where they speculated on the gruesome reason she never appeared on The Muppet Show . . .

Sequel idea:  Shrimpnado, starring Louise from Bob's Burgers

I love Louise's little slap dance during the credits.

"Dances with Dogs" was terrible.  It was part of a run of mediocre season 7 episodes that can all be summed up as "Hank hates Bobby's new hobby, then joins in and takes it too far."

Buckle it up!  Buckle it up!  Buckle it up, or you'll die!

Agnes Grep's last name means "burp" in Yiddish.  I always wondered if that was intentional.

Good luck figuring out what the fuck to do with Cymbeline.

I saw Oedipus Rex retold through license plates.

I hope none of them are planning on going to NY to attend Hudson University.

For the bris, they would "circumcise" the shortest tentacle.

The idea of theological questions with aliens reminds me of a short story called "On Venus, Have We Got a Rabbi!"  There's a convention on Venus with representatives of Jewish communities from around the galaxy.  They are different colors and have more or less body parts than usual, but they are all basically

My brother, who is about 6 years older than me.  I used to sneak into his room to borrow CDs and his books about television.  He stopped being angry when he realized it meant I liked his taste in entertainment, and from that point he would introduce me to things he thought I would like, from the Beastie Boys to the IT

The first season of Arab Labor is available on Region 1 DVD and Amazon has it.  I had rented them from Netflix, but it looks like they don't have it anymore.
