I actually find her ADWD arc interesting in that while most of the storylines/details GRRM borrows from actual events were mediaeval Europe based, Meereen seems indirectly/unspecifically inspired by the Reconstruction period in American History, with the Sons of the Harpy similar to the first iteration of the KKK.
It was actually the guy who played O'Shaunessy, the bible-thumping landlord on "Deadwood". Getting told off by strong female characters on HBO shows is kinda his niche.
And also getting annoyed at Badger for constantly spoiling stuff from the books.
Don't remember where in the books it is, but there's also a story where it's implied that Gendry (unbeknownst to either of them) stumbles into an incestuous relationship with a girl King Robert sired after the Battle of the Bells.

In the books (and once or twice in this season) there are references made about the Septas and Silent Sisters, who are basically the Seven equivalent of Nuns. "They brought in some Ironborn ringers for the freestyle raping competition."
I missed The Hound calling him Pisscloak
I'm sorry they cut Tom O'Sevens from the Brotherhood. He added to the Westerosi songbook with his Edmure Tully dick joke jam "The Fish That Flopped".
