IIRC he's a Jets fan, but Giant-friendly (he's from Joisey originally). Wun Wun was created as part of a joke bet he had over a Giants/Cowboys game with a friend who's a fan of the latter. The Cowboys won and as his prize his friend got to have a character named after him die in a memorable way. Win Wun the Giant

It's insane how much better Landon Collins is this year.

Even so, there're no outright definite losses out there. I don't think they'll catch the Cowboys for the Division, but a 10-6 mark and a wild card spot seem entirely feasible. If the offense finally shows an ability to be consistently present for four quarters they can get scary.

William Carlos Williams is possibly the most NFL player sounding poet name in history. Like he could have been a second round pick in 1992 that just didn't pan out as the answer to the Bengal's secondary woes.

Oh That is awesome. I know Collinsworth gets a lot of shit in these parts but he's one of the few TV football announcers I actually like. His perpetual bemusement pairs well with Michael's dry humor.

Yeah with Cowboy fans and Yankee fans I make a very clear distinction between those with ties to the home market (whom I think get a bad rap) and random bandwagoners (who are loathsome).

My parents used to have a copy of that book!

That's not necessarily true, I……..
…….. Holy shit you're right!

Yeah I once saw a ad by them mentioning that and assumed it was bull shit, but my Dad said it was a real thing people did (or at least talked about wanting to do) in the early 70's.

I dunno. I find the opposite. I drink some form of liquor every day, but (outside of traveling) only have beer a couple of times a month. I find I react much better to whiskies than beers, though maybe it's a result of my recent patterns.

Gose? GOSE FUCK YOURSELF!

Does Grolsch still have those latch plug caps, so you can pretend you're a Thirty Years War era bawdy mercenary?

It's the wood that makes them not good!

More like Build-a-Beer.

My uncle worked at an ad company in the 80's that was way past their glory years of the 60's. They once had to move offices around and had to get rid of a ton of old collateral materials from those days (stuff like Speedy Alka-Seltzer statues). My uncle made a point to haul back as much Griesedieck signage and posters

And like Paul Newman was a native of Cleveland.

Are salad dressings electric?

Working those Hudson U. alum connections I hope.

Ah shit! I forgot to take my fucking khakis to the cleaners! There're some stains that just need that professional touch.
