Yeah those are clearly pre-war six story apartments of the type found around the Grand Concourse in the Bronx in the background.

The Alpha Centauri Syndicate is no joke.

That was basically something my Dad always said when he couldn't comprehend why a business existed.

And why are they using what's clearly a photo from the Bronx or Brooklyn in the fifties for an article about Glasgow in the 80's?

I guess he gave himself….the works.

Didn't John Cleese get rich making workplace training films?

I'm actually going to Glasgow next month. I'll look into it.

I've actually developed a taste for pork rinds in the last year or so. And this is actually after I've started to focus more on what I'm eating, and gotten a bit slimmer. But only the Goya stuff.

Although Gord warned me not to fuck with the 401, I think I will when I have to go to Pearson Airport at the end of the month. The tolls on the 407 are absurd! Almost a buck (or I guess a Loonie) a mile!

Headstones are pretty great.

Jerry Springer?

Da Bid-niz

In terms of the timeliness of the first ep, they have the old couple from the Dresden from "Swingers" both covering "Superstar Machine" and receiving a box of shit from Frenchy.

I love that for a split second when they show "Superstar Machine" as the #1 song on the Billboard charts, the rest of the list is full of callbacks. The only ones I recall OTTOMH are "Try Again (Adam's Song)" by Titanica and "Mares Eat Oats" by Norma Jean Monster. I'm sure there had to have been a Wyckyd Scepter jam

You know, there's an old Lutheran cemetery near my house. It's on a hill, possibly the highest natural feature in Albany. I go there for an after dinner walk on nice days and used to walk my dog there. One of the family headstones in it is for the KLEIST family. Without fail I can't pass by it and not think of that

Same here.

All their Ex-fans live in Texas, while they're safe in Tennessee.
