Question from someone who just didn't care for FC3, is their anything different in FC4 that would warrant me giving it a second shot? The game looks good, but if it's more or less the same I'll keep my distance.
I am a huge fan of the series (and go out of my way to get their "spinoffs" like Red Dead and LA Noire) but I just found V flat out boring. I thought I had grown out of it since I can't obsess over games like I did in college, but recently I picked up Gay Tony on a sale and FLEW through it.
Why step in when the drive-thru is right there!
Yeah I see your point about the upgrading technology. A few years ago when hype was building on these machines I had a nagging feeling concerning why I wasn't excited for the next gen and it was probably the fact that there wasn't anything "new" coming out. Yet I was still dumb enough to buy it.
But "wro" was the operative word.
Agreed. Though I jumped from Xbox to PS for this new generation so it was a little bit exciting. In a couple years time I'm sure we'll see the difference, but I have this same thought about the graphics every new console generation. They're telling us we can't have backwards compatibility cause the machines are so…
Having only played on a roommate's PS3 I never bothered doing single player, finding the user-created levels such a blast and figuring the campaign would bore me.
I've seemed to have hit a wall on Darksiders 2, I'm at the part where you somewhat spoiler plate collect the three keepers of the dead king. Which is a shame since a few hours before I was galloping across a field while I dismantled a giant killer tree.
Heh heh heh. "Puke" pie.
This was me in college: "Hey, this is a 400-level English class and we have spent a week on citing sources. If these people don't understand how to do it by now then somebody at this University really fucked up."
Will Smith as Harley Quinn? I can see it.
Which I feel is a shame. The actor playing him is doing so much with so little.
First time I heard this story I was like "Man, Berliners really like their doughnuts."
I've done the same thing with Steam. I'm assuming I just go batshit crazy during those wallet-buster deals they do and end up with a game or two I forget to actually play.
For me the big sell of the LBP series is creating levels and downloading levels from the community. I cant remember if I've even played the story (this was a roommates copy), kind of like how some people by COD games and never play single-player.
I remember trying to play that game as a kid and getting frustrated when all I was doing was floating around space and NOT fighting X-Wings or TIE Fighters. Then I would fly pass one that shot at me a couple of times, and by the time I turned around he was nothing but a sprite in the distance.
And his dad will really hate iron man competitions.
I didn't think about your last paragraph. That's a good point.
I tended bar with a very attractive gay girl and I've witnessed numerous times how men would talk to her about her sexuality as if it was a disease that a good dick could cure, so I have some sympathy for CE when I read her articles.
