its always 'basketball season'
in fact, the NBA is going through training camps right now and preseason games are right around the corner

Wild-Kings available nationwide on NBCSN

there was a Hydrox joke in Season 2. Something along the line of there being an "off-brand" Hydrox cookie

You are Hydrox. We are Oreo.

Im kinda late to the party here, but I never gave The Replacements much thought until about this time last year. It was like 'hey I live in Minnesota, I should give The Replacements at least a listen' so I picked up 'Let It Be' at the local library and I was hooked before 'I Will Dare' finished. I went out and bought

who keeps doing that?!

'speed holes'

There have been a few Thursdays without baseball so I randomly flip channels and stumbled across this show.  I enjoyed it! Anthony Anderson was one one of the episodes and man alive, he gets intense when playing these games. There was an episode with Jason Alexander (hes got hair now!) and it was a snorefest

I like Greg Kihn's 'The Breakup Song' way more than 'Jeopardy'

I didnt post too many comments during these reviews because most of what I had to say had already been said and hashed out, but I looked forward to these essays and comment sections every week and was never disappointed.

strawberry cake with strawberry sauce on top with a side of vanilla ice cream is amazing.

I learned how to do division by crunching numbers on a homemade version of Strat-O-Matic (I had  a league and everything! needless to say, I didnt have many friends)

agreed.
I really really really hated that B-story

there are other days scattered throughout the year where very little is happening. Thanksgiving has a 3 NFL games and maybe a college game. There are random day during the baseball season where 2 or 3 teams or playing and thats it.

"Jealousy will rear its ugly head. It will look around, and then it will eat Tokyo."

Dave Winfield would probably be on a Top 10 list. Was a standout baseball and basketball player in college, and was so good he was drafted in the NFL even though he didnt play college football. Ended up as a MLB Hall of Famer.

Wheel of Fortune is awful. They have somehow lessened the games played (they make it up by having those stupid quickie puzzles) and added so many in-game commercials.

regarding AFHV: I think a more interesting topic is that show must be a cash cow for ABC. It never gets bumped out of its time because of sports runover (60 Minutes), its gets no promotion, and (Im taking a guess here) probably the cheapest program on network tv.

I admit to watching Whitney on a regular basis. It was mostly when there are no sports on and nothing else looked interesting. I dunno, I dont think it was a terrible show like most people say, but it wasnt 'must watch tv' either. It was just there and I would chuckle a few times.
