You read this book? You cocktard.
This is going to take me a while, but I am determined to work my way down the comments and mock everybody that admits to having read a dan brown novel. Alright….

You read this book? You giant pillock.

You read this book? You giant ass.
This is going to take me a while, but I am determined to work my way down the comments and mock everybody that admits to having read a dan brown novel. Alright….

I wish to apologise for the behaviour of my country
I heard recently that these two shitty dan brown novels are the two most popular novels in the U.K.
I will carry the shame to my grave.

David Attenborough
Dave did the commentary for the BBC show (of course). Did he not make it to the discovery channel version? What a sack of crap.

Think you replied to the wrong comment, but anyway, gotta agree with some Ellroy too. Maybe LA confidential. Did they do a book v film for that yet? Love the film too.

Gravity's motherfucking Rainbow.
So hard to finish, it would really amuse me thinking of all you folks battling through it.
Also, I'm pleased to see so many people recommending some Neal Stephenson on here, perhaps my favourite author. Although I haven't got round to reading Anathem yet, it's just too fucking huge.

Possible spoiler, if anyone cares.
I read the last 2 in the series when I was a kid, and no others. I did think they were pretty badass though. I particularly remember one scene where the main dude (Kim?) blasts his way out of an enemy base, and pretty much destroys a whole city in the process. great fun.

All that's going to happen is they'll remake more recent movies.

Great 'head.
That Radiohead performance, I mean.

Get off the road, Murray!
Jesus christ man, I'm glad I don't live in your town.

Ah, Redwall. The first book I ever read, I was about 10. Also the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th book I ever read. happy memories.

Maybe nobody gives a crap about the DS.

It is extremely odd
to see David Frost (Sir David now, no less) described as a "globetrotting international playboy", having only seen him in his old age.
He's still on the telly, by the way.
And he's really old.

For sure, the last 2 books were terrible. Is it really going to be finished though? Who by?

Robert Jordan
Sadly / annoyingly dead, leaving his Wheel of Time series forever unfinished.
11 brick thick volumes - must win some sort of prize for longest story ever written.
Also, I haven't read any G.R.R. Martin, but a lot of the fan criticisms seem to be the same as for Jordan. But hey, at least your author's still

Two Speed Random Twinkle.

Agreed, well done to you sir.

Too be fair, it was a honest mistake, and we probly shouldn't bludgeon them to death over it.

To long?
