Man I didn't even realise there were more season of Broadchurch until a friend told me

I just finished the season. It got better, but the dialogue and performances are just too cliche. I don't care much for the opening credits/song either.
I do wonder if it will get renewed, anyone have any idea how it performed ratings wise?

Did you listen to the dialogue between Choo-Choo and her? About as cliche as it comes. I don't have a problem so much with the show having a scene like that, but expected better writing and execution from Justified.
Something about the performances too, seem so laboured, maybe thats the writing though……

This show will have to up the boob shot quota for Hayley and Alex per episode, otherwise I am out for good.

It never sat well with me that Lip gives a damn about Mandy. Like in the earlier seasons when she runs over Karen, and Lips is initially very pissed, then for some reason goes to her place later and thanks her for getting him in/applying to college for him! Not to mention the actress that plays Mandy is so bland.

I can't stand Mandy, I think it has more to do with the actress though, such a bland performance, pity they couldn't have kept the original actress.
