People who dish it out *and* can take it are all right. People who dish it out and can't take it are pathetic sacks of shit, fuck them and their sisters and their wives.

Wait, Practical Magic like the Sandra Bullock movie? Shit I had no idea it was a book.
Yeah. And Stewart is still relatively young, so I'm sort of comforted by the fact that he's probably not going to go full Carson. I think we'll see new stuff from him, just maybe not political.
I fucking love Eddie Izzard, so great!
That's why I'm hoping Noah doesn't rock the boat too much until November 2016. He's got Stewart's old people, stick to what he's done, do Indecision 2016, then make it your own…
I think Wilmore's funny, but the panel is atrocious. The panel is: one or two guests, and one or two correspondents or producers on the show. Rory Albanese is cool and all, but he should stick to behind the camera work-I'm fucking sick of seeing him on the panel twice a goddamn week.
The Republican debate made parody obsolete.
Yeah, I feel like he's probably better off playing it safe for a little while. Stewart didn't immediately make any radical changes. He has Stewart's old staff, right? Ease people into it, let them know that this is still the daily dose of sanity they rely on to make sense of the world, albeit with a new personality,…
John Oliver's show is perfect for his format-he can't do what the Daily Show does with 88 minutes a week, but he focus less on the clip and response format and more on digging deep into an issue. I just wish he had a little more time each week.
I think the gritty superhero age has to eventually come to a close. We have to be towards the end of it, right? I mean, Frank Miller wrote The Dark Knight Rises almost 30 years ago.
So if I'm reading your comment correctly, the limit is 13? There are 13 movies that you argue are better than SM2, therefore Spider-Man 2 cannot be one of the best? That seems quite arbitrary.
I think tonal confusions/inconsistencies can be a lot of fun. They make otherwise bland movies/works of art pretty trippy and even amusing.
I'd be fascinated to see David Cronenberg's take on Iron Man. Or The Hulk.
Or maybe even something in the vein of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (in terms of length). I can't imagine something greater than 2-3 times the length of a standard episode working.
Tattoo You is pretty solid. Taylor is credited, although only on two songs. I wouldn't put it up there with their best, but I would argue that it's their last essential album. Don't forget they also had a couple of duds in the 70s-Tattoo You is much better than Black and Blue or Goats Head Soup (although I like both…
I'm about 99% sure Bosco is joking, because the comment makes no sense otherwise. With all due respect to the dead, Jones was incidental to the Stone's best work. He is credited on Beggar's and Let it Bleed, but was barely involved creatively.
What kind of fucking embarrassing shitstain of a human being knocks the Stones?
Jennifer Beals is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life.
I forgot that part of the conversation, that's a pretty excellent rebuttal to my point and I think I was a little harder on DFW than I needed to be. I think you're right, DFW did not succeed on all counts, but Infinite Jest is by no means a failure, and even if it were-an ambitious failure is a lot more interesting me…
Hannah is my favorite Allen movie by far. It really did change my life, and it's one of my top 5 movies ever.
