This season finale had the same problem as last year: trying to cram way too much into one hour.  In 42 minutes, we had: interesting Hook fairybacks!  the failsafe! Regina redemption! Emma magic! Blue Fairy potion! Rumbelle reunion! portals! cloaking spell! Hook changing sides for the billionth time! and don't blink,

I would actually watch an episode of Robert Carlyle and Michael Emerson sitting at a table chatting a la that boring Walking Dead episode where Rick and the Governor did the same thing.

Rumbelle giveth and Rumbelle taketh away.  I wish I wasn't a fan of this pairing.  Oh well.

You forgot the worst young/old casting of all…August and Pinocchio.  Old and young Bae is a stretch but I can accept it.  Not so with August.

I liked the fact Lacey and Gold were out looking for trouble at 6 AM.  At least I think that was the case.

Wasn't it the same necklace that was in Belle's dream earlier this season?

As someone who wants normal Belle back, I was kind of embarrassed when I found some of last night's Lacey/Gold moments in the same hot category as Rumple/Cora.

Yeah, they needed a much stronger reason for Hook to hate Rumple.  Someone here pointed out before that Hook has had chemistry with every woman on this show but Milah.

Red was off filming a CBS pilot.  Not sure if we are seeing her again anytime soon.

Agreed.  There is so much potential there, such as the episode where she lost her memories at the end.  I hope this will be an improvement for Season 3 (along with many other things).

The Rumple/Evil Queen scenes were the best of the episode.  The only time you saw Gold was when Hook saw him stumbling out of the bar with Lacey.  Ugh…Lacey.  I miss Belle.

I feel like these so-so recent episodes would not have been as terrible if we had not waited a month for them.  That said, of course the promo reeled me for next week with the promise of the trip to Neverland.

That was Smee.

That D+ was a little harsh, I'd save that for an episode like "Tiny."  I don't really have a problem with a good ole fairy tale flashback that involves Snow and the Evil Queen, because that at least involves our core characters.

Rumbelle fans need a support group.  Especially with the cute FTL Rumbelle scenes they interchanged with the Lacey makeout/Gold beatdown ones.

I think most everyone here likes the show (including me), but we all see so much potential.  I personally am glad that there is a show that is different from every other broadcast show and enjoy the fact I can think about characters/storylines in a different way than what is on screen.

I say Snow and Charming leave and get replaced by Granny and Grumpy as series regulars.

I wanted Emma to tell Regina what was up, because I think you are right about them being a good team.  They obviously don't think Regina is a problem, since everyone is cool with her doing whatever she wants after the Cora drama.

I will admit I liked the fairyback with all its not-so-subtle references to Beauty and the Beast, previous episodes, etc.  But I can't figure out what the benefit of Dark Belle/Gold is going to be. Something about that is bugging me.  I hope Belle gets her real memories back, and the combination of Lacey/Belle will

He totally did not earn that favor.  Yet?
