I guess it's time to break out my season three DVDs now. Do we get Pacey/Joey smooches yet? (It's very weird to watch this show for the first time so long after it aired. I already know basically what happens, but I have no idea when it will happen.)

I never got "magical black guy" from this episode, mostly because there was a plot reason for Exley being black. If he was a white guy, he wouldn't be able to play baseball without being quickly found out by the ABH. And damn, he wanted to play baseball.

The drawing bothered me, too. Not really a nudie drawing, Joey darling, if you don't draw the wobbly bits.

November? Excuse me while I go put my pouty face on.

Yeah, I think that's what I meant. It would have been unbearable to watch so much awkward on the screen since I was so awkward in real life. Now that I'm past the awkwardness of that age, it's a fun trip back to the past to watch this show.

I missed this show as a teenager (too busy with my all-consuming X-Files obsession, I guess . . . ) and recently dived into Dawson's Creek at the behest of my roommate. I enjoyed the first season, but it didn't feel like anything all that spectacular. Then I started season two and something clicked, and now I find the

Oh, wait, I just finished the review, and that is Jeyne Westerling? I thought I read somewhere that the nurse character had another name . . . oh well. Doesn't really matter.

I'm going to have to disagree about there being no strong central theme . . . in fact, I think they kind of hit the theme over the head, what with it being the title of the episode and all. Almost every single storyline in this episode was about violence, death, and decay as an outcome of this war: Cat getting Ned's

Todd: I always new we should be BFF's. Superman Returns is one of my very most favorite movies. It makes me sad when everybody rips it apart.

"Good. God." is right. My jaw is on the fucking floor right now.

I read somewhere that they were going to "go there" with Seppius and Seppia, but then they sat down and watched Game of Thrones, and realized GOT had gotten there first with the twincest. So they backed off and took it in another direction.
