I miss that depraved albino deer terribly. Part of me is holding out for the possibility that he survived the loss of his arm, and that he's seething in a maximum security prison somewhere.

You'd think that after dealing with congregations for years, Cassie would be better at reading people. She immediately observed that Colt was an addict, but she didn't realize that he'd come to do her harm. What gives?
Well, remember Tom Bergen? He'd been living in Harlan County for almost 20 years, and he told Raylan that the residents STILL saw him as an outsider. I'm still surprised that Shelby is trusted, since he's a non-native.
Arlo wasn't necessarily protecting Francis' honor; he was protecting his OWN honor. He probably saw an insult to his wife as an insult to him personally and retaliated. We've seen plenty of evidence that he didn't think highly of Francis, not to mention that he physically abused her.
Romance between two chunky, bearded, middle-aged men? I never thought of Shelby/Drew and Hunter as bears before, but now I can see it.
I'm eager to see how Boyd will punish Colt for his failure and dishonesty. It's clear that Colt will no longer have a place in Boyd's gang, but will he be exiled? Killed? I don't know.
Those two Clover Hillers remind me of meaner, more depraved versions of Sanford and Waldorf from "The Muppet Show". I would give anything to hear them go "Ehhhhhhh-heh-heh-heh!"
@avclub-32b63dd70d870580128d83e930199e1c:disqus — I think Ava's pride is why they're house-hunting in Clover Hill. Ava remarked that her mother cleaned houses in Clover Hill, so by purchasing one of the very homes her mother cleaned, Ava is going for symbolism.
Agreed. Dewey is my favorite cosmic chew-toy.
Parpson? Is he related to the cartoonist who does "Hyperbole and a Half"? PARP PARP PARP PARP PARP!
Do you see Constable Bob's anger getting him in serious trouble down the road?
You'd think with all their riches, Gerald and Lee could have afforded some shooting lessons!
Watching Constable Bob fire his machine gun at the Clover Hillers (and hit everything BUT the Clover Hillers) was comedy gold. The scene couldn't have been better if Patton Oswalt had been eating Stella Doro Breakfast Treats while listening to "Christmas Shoes".
Yeah, whatever happened to Last Chance Salvation Church? Did Cassie take over? Or did she call it a day and leave the area?
Good call. Who else but Limehouse would know the secrets of the region?
For the life of me, I will never understand what Francis and Helen saw in him.
Agreed. He just angered some of the most powerful businessmen in the region, AND he has the Dixie Mafia and the Tonins after him. Plus, unbeknownst to him, his own cousin is plotting against him, his drug-addled thug is becoming increasingly unstable, and Shelby is trying to build a case against him. I see everything…
I'm waiting for some enterprising DJ to make a remix using that line! I wonder if DJ Steve Porter would do it?
First, if Raylan is invited to Boyd and Ava's wedding, what is an appropriate wedding gift for an outlaw couple? Shotgun ammunition? Cast iron skillets that double as bludgeons? A romantic honeymoon package with stops along the Oxycontin Express? I'd love to see their wedding registry.
I'm trying to picture Ellen May in drag …
