Murica.

It's saying there is no Reese. The spoon is a universal constant.

Please stop self-aggrandizing.

Realize, too, that statue also has an erection.

I have no fluency in German so I have no idea if this is a legit question or a joke. As for PG's version, I just checked and its "grenzen", which roughly translates as "to border". Reading the German lyrics, they apparently couldn't find a good word for "knockout" and are left with this clunker: Bis zum knockout.

You're a one-man party.

I suspect that years from now, if not sooner, the first three films from MNS will be considered b-movie classics. Just because they're divisive doesn't mean they're bad.

Jeux sans frontiere!

Deanna Durbin, we hardly knew ye.

Totally racist! Black people are threatening to all women, not just those who are white. It's okay folks, I'm brown - everything is under control.

Yeah, outside of The Sixth Sense, which was clearly intended to be about the integration of its "twist" (I hate that word) throughout the entirety of the film, it seemed like the rest of his films were expected to provide that exact same experience. That's unfair because Unbreakable, Signs and even The Village are

And despite the haters, The Sixth Sense is genuinely clever in what it shows and how that aligns with the "reality" of the story. The first viewing was about the story and the reveal at the end. The second viewing was about realizing that the movie never cheated with with what it showed the audience. *KINDA SPOILERZ*

I agree. Unbreakable works really well if you bother to realize that the film was not backwards-engineered based on a "twist" ending. It's a well-conceived, expertly photographed origin story. I can live with Sam Jackson spelling it out at the end because I've read far worse dialogue in actual comic books.

Disqus is my favorite Olympic sport.

I would have mentally committed myself to Season 2 if Ryan had to be buried alive in order to reach Joe's lighthouse (shout out to The Vanishing!). Now THAT'S entertainment!

The point of having a lighthouse is because it's a MOTIF.

I'm fully familiar with Ravenous but I sincerely need to revisit Frailty. Was it Bill Paxton's only time directing? (no time to check imdb) For a debut it sure was a conspicuous choice.

I'm fully on-board with the Ravenous love - top to bottom it was an excellent genre film but I'm not quite sure to which genre it belongs. I still maintain it would make for an excellent addition to the Criterion Collection. In retrospect, it's the type of movie Guillermo del Toro might have directed if he wasn't busy

I'm pretty easy-going about these things when the facts present themselves. So George is the best musician when he's moderated by John, Paul and Other George. Poor Ringo, always the odd man
