"He was in the Arthur remake. WHY DID THEY REMAKE IT?!!?!?!"

A lot of the jokes fell flat in the first two acts, but that third act was damn near perfect.

Followed by "When did he pass away?"

Of all people, you'd have to think Chevy is just grateful to be relevant again. Without Community, his name wouldn't have been mentioned in the public at all the last 3 years.

I agree with everyone-Rubicon was pretty damn awesome, really upset they only gave it a season.

Betty looked like a white, female, 1960s Nutty Professor, and it distracted the hell out of me all episode long.

Every time Peter Dinklage comes into a scene, a get a smile on my face.

Yeah, I get that. I just don't think I've gotten as excited about the alt-universe since the timeline changed. I'm just more interested right now in how Peter's re-entry into the timeline will begin to affect everyone else's memories (besides Olivia). But Fringe rarely lets me down, so I have faith.

So the ads for season 2 hooked me, and I blew through the whole season in a couple days. Like Richie below, I didn't find the same pitfalls that the reviews did. Oh boy did things get dark here…

I don't care about the flaws, this show is fun as hell

You're flirting with the highest degree of AV Club blasphemy.

"I'm Irish. Go Celts! Screw The Celts! Go Knicks!" was the best line of the night

Charlie blowing his tuner thing after saying things was so great

And, having watched both AD and Community with new people, that AD is far more susceptible to having people feel left out of the humor than Community is. Community is funny on a surface level, and very funny on a deeper level. AD rewards you for rewatching.

The fact that you're calling it that tells me you're ready

I think Arrested Development is a shining counterpoint to Steven's argument. I don't think anyone would argue against it being one of the top 3-5 comedies of the decade, yet that was a show that was driven by inside jokes, callbacks, connection to very shallow characters. If you don't like it, you don't like it. But
