I agree that this series has a great concept that the pilot didn't do justice to.  I would like to add something that the roundtable forgot though.  Tracy Spiridakos is very, very, pretty.

I finally saw Men in Black 3 at a local second-run theater.  It was fine.  Not as good as the first, but way better than the second, which sucked big time.

The first time I saw a TED Talk was about a year ago.  I'd heard of them before, just never got around to watching. Anyway, there was a link to a TED Talk through an NPR story.  And it was really good. So I watch 2 or 3 more and they were fantastic.

Additionally, I think part of the appeal is that the movie is so far away from my politics.  Someone above mentioned it's appeal to homophobes and fascists.

I  remember liking the Lost in Space movie, but I was 16 or so when I saw it so my taste then is questionable.
