Looking at that alternative category Gotye seems way out of his league, which probably means he'll end up winning.

Yeah retail does suck the jolly right out of the holidays, I always wonder if I would enjoy holiday music more if I weren't listening to it 40 hours a week for six weeks.

Oh no, I'm still in bah humbug mode, I work in retail so I've been hearing 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' 15 times a day, including numerous cover versions. Not even a group of orphans singing it on a street corner could warm my heart to this song.

Of course it wasn't the Kubrick version but I really didn't think the made for tv version of The Shining was that bad. Also now that we've been subjected to the travesty that was Liz and Dick do we really need to hold grudges against made for tv Stephen King adaptations?

That is a better idea, just have it show up and then have it disappear as @disqusacc:disqus says once the dome was in place that wasn't really what the story was about, it then became what happens when people are cut off and there are no rules anymore. That's what I enjoyed about the novel.

Yeah that ending, I remember it being pretty good until you found out how and why the dome came to be, ugh.

Then they hit the road and it does lose steam after that.

I brought the first three because I had heard so many good things about the series and figured I'd be blowing through them but it didn't turn out that way, but I'm going to try again.

Yep, it was in MYOF. It wasn't a good movie but I did love looking at New Orleans so I could get past that it was horrible movie. Another one where I could get past the horribleness for shots of New Orleans was Dylan Dog.
