And while the show seems to be playing the "Shelby is Thompson" card quite loudly, I'll just take this opportunity to restate my longshot theory from last week that Thompson is former sheriff Napier.  Not because I think that it's true, but just so that if it winds up happening, I can come back with a "BOOYAH, CALLED

"For example, I wonder if Eve has any association with the perversions of
Clover Hill. Why else would she give Raylan 27 names to investigate—two
of whom are dead by the end of “Outlaw”

I generally haven't hated the flashbacks as much as others, but I think tonight crossed the line for me.  Specifically, the fact that they were having flashbacks …..INSIDE OF OTHER FLASHBACKS.  Debra flashing back to when she went back to her parents at cult-central, where she flashes back to when her parents aided in

"None of the Feds understand just how Joe has this much reach, and it’s
of course utterly absurd watching his fake SWAT team take out the real
SWAT team just as they have Joey’s kidnappers dead to rights.  How on earth Joe (and mysterious benefactor “Rodrick”) managed to sneak
cultists into positions of authority in

Exactly my thoughts.  Matt made some comments during tribal where it sounded like he could be going against Shamar (though Mike sounded like he was firmly on their side).  Bringing out the idol gives them the extra "Oh, they're hiding things from us!" motivation to solidify the alliance and take down the cool kids.

The lawyers you know are correct.  Law firms were decimated by the financial meltdown.  I happened to be in law school at the time, lucky me.

No way it's Shelby.  One of the only things we know about Drew Thompson is that he hobnobs it up with all the rich creepy dudes that were at the sex party.  Do you really see Shelby ever coming anywhere near those people?  Because I certainly don't.

I had completely avoided "Call Me Maybe" and that Gotye song until the AV Club ran a piece about how unavoidable they were.  I wish I had never read that article.

He was shot in the head, wasn't he?  Then there will be no Zombie Axel.

"We just had an incredibly tense, game-changing moment (with the Governor firing the first shot).  A perfect time to follow it up with Chris Hardwick shouting and acting like a moron and completely ruining the moment!"  -  AMC executives

Awesome theory.  If I object to being called a sexist, I must be a sexist!  Thanks for giving us your brilliant analysis two days later.  Really.  Thanks.

They haven't explained why she gave it to him.  So far, the only mention I've seen of it came last week where Parker was interrogating Joe and he said something like "Thanks for bringing me my book," and all the other FBI people were like "What the fuck is he talking about?"

No one wants to see Harvey Keitel's penis?

Aw, poor little ram.  Late to the fight, and tries to sound smart with a little grammar police act (comma splice!).  Then he fucks up with a basic "your/you're" mistake.

Alright, apology accepted.  And sorry if I got a bit heated as well.

"You're projecting"……… "Maybe she reminds you of a whore?  And you don't like that?"

@avclub-2d0cca95ad6a2061d208d765e79af478:disqus In the midst of my general outrage over being called a sexist for having an opinion that wasn't sexist in the least, I overlooked the complete insanity of his comment.

"So maybe some more nuance sometime or use specific examples or don't be so flip about something that can make so many people feel shitty."

"In the end, we are just the viewers and consumers of the show - it's Lena Dunham's show and she can do whatever she wants with it, for better or worse."

There have been numerous times during this series where she just parades around naked with no good story reason to do so.  Are we even watching the same show?  Unless you think they absolutely HAVE to show every time she changes her clothes, because that is so critical to the story!
