Under Siege?
Under Siege?
Oh no! The wonder emporium has gone KERFLOOEY!
I was kind of hoping for a cravat. A bolo would probably have been too far, but it's time for another cravat, doggone it.
I'll take February 18th.
A for me.
"It was all a dream" is the iPod Nano of fiction conceits.
Good news…there's a bit of a rough patch up next (some call it season 4), but the show comes back as good as new in season 5.

I concur.
In the opposite of her defense, I'm pretty sure they gave the age of the dead veteran (110), and referred to him as a doughboy in the answer. I can understand (sort of) not getting the doughboy reference, but some quick math indicates that a 110 year old who died in 2011 would've been born at the beginning of the 20th…
I realize I could (and should) say this pretty much every time there's a new DW(C) review posted, but holy cow, what a fantastic writeup. The fact that these are written by someone who clearly has a deep affection for the series, and can still look at it with a critical eye…brilliant. Anyway, fantastic reviews, and as…

I would have given someone else's right arm for a Hannibal pendulum swish during or after that speech.
B+. It made me laugh from beginning to end, even if I didn't get all the references. (Though I'm glad I did finally watch Zodiac a few weeks ago.)
There's a chance I'll be proven wrong—I still have 8 left to see—but I'm pretty sure Cimarron is going to go down as the worst/my least favorite Best Picture winner ever.
Something I noticed in the writeup, and something I've been wondering about in regards to other sitcoms—there's a lot mentioned about character, and knowing who the characters are, and (to a certain degree) the expectations an audience holds in regards to those characters. Does an episode like this work as well if…
Two afterthoughts: Here's the link to the Craig Ferguson Doctor Who song I alluded to in the post (Disqus kept screwing up the format of the link in the post itself).
CZ Advent Calendar, Day 19: Doctor Who: "A Christmas Carol"
I'm grading some papers, and I need confirmation—an essay posted online by a 12th grader who goes by the name "katykat" counts as a legitimate academic source, right?
