Holy crap, you're making me want to go back to WDW.  (Not that I didn't already, but still.)

Sadly, the star of The Little Bang Theory kept eating the whiteboard markers.

Ooh, counterpoint!  Ten points to @avclub-e3f5ab7f02122f95b801e13e2c586d6a:disqus !

So this is a day that could be called…

Ah, but!  While Never Say Never Again was indeed a cheap imitation of Thunderball (itself no small feat), it came out the same year as Octopussy.  Comparison stands, decision: Adams.

Lotsa curves?

*grasshoppers*

I get it, but shouldn't that be ***'* ***** *** *itch ** ********* **, just to be pedantic?

Also, I'd give a lot to be able to see reruns of their Sunday night variety show again.  (Not really, but it'd make me happy.  And I mean actual reruns, not YouTube clips.)

Thanks for this.  This post really warmed the cockles of my cold, black heart.  I love their music—several of the tracks from their farewell concert are in regular rotation on my iPod.

Why not go the full Taylor and get La Lohan?

Lord, what fools these firsties be.

This whole thread is a comedy of errors.  Everyone needs to go back, measure for measure, and see what went wrong.

One of my earliest, and fondest, memories is sitting down at the dinner table with my Dad, and his copy of this album—he took me through all the songs (all of them), and explained how songs are pretty much stories set to music.  He'd collected all the EJ albums made until I was born (so, up to 1983), and he just

Dunno about FAFPM, but the low rank on AfL was me—it was #71, my least favorite episode of the show.  I just don't care for it—the jokes fell flat, the guest star (and his malady) were tonally out of place and almost incoherent, and (more than anything) I was just bored watching the episode.  (FWIW, I had CWT at 60.)

It's possible he actually ended up with a plurality, but his name was spelled differently on every ballot.

If the category were anything but Best Song, Adele might be a lock to win.  (Point being, the Best Song winners have a (recent: ~15 years) history of not making any damn sense.  (Or, sadly, making too much sense.))

I really thought Lawrence was still the frontrunner, with Chastain a not-quite-longshot second.  (And, frankly, the nomination haul for SLP seems to suggest this.)

@avclub-3db41011acc2d229176bf6a92202728d:disqus —either that, or assume it's from a dead language, like French.
