You can come back to it after those two issues, I suppose.

Well, if you walked into a comic store and decided you wanted to buy *any* comic, how would you go about it? Well, you'd try one, some or perhaps even all to find out what you'd like. Right? Failing that, you could use that there internet to get an idea of what each one is about.
A lot of people whinge about there being too many Avengers books, when in reality they're largely disparate titles with differing tones, plots and aims (even when they cross over) - all cannily marketed using the Avengers brand on the front page. Secret Avengers has bugger all to do with Avengers Arena, which in turn…
BELL BOOOOOOO-OOOOYY
Spot on. It took me twenty issues to realise Morning Glories was a load of old cobblers. I had clocked the art as terrible since issue one, however.
Could easily be bi.
Yeah, she's got late-20s keeping-the-weight off arms, which means she can in no way pass for a high-schooler
Ricky fuckin' Gervais.
McKelvie's art is nice, apart from the eyes. His characters are always doing that "looking up and to the side because I'm doing a laffer" thing.
Tell you something: I don't read any of the Tumblr stuff about YA (or Tumblr in general), but after seeing this review I will ensure I never, ever do.
Yup, no real prior knowledge is needed.
Whilst this episode certainly created the most media furore, and lives largest in people's minds thanks to the highly-charged subject matter, it's arguably the weakest of the Brass Eyes. Many of the sequences are retreads of earlier bits (even the beauty pageant is a recontextualised running sketch from Jam/Blue Jam)…
One of my favourite comics runs of all time. The Dead Girl miniseries is also joyous.
DC has rebooted their entire universe, what, at least three times now? Marvel never has.
ha ha looser
Took me a few days to get round to YA as it's not one of my favourites, but this was the best issue of the run so far, I think. Great character establishment, and the teasing of a new villain/mystery.
I hope Ikari returns (and he will) - that's one sweet character design.
616, son
Nowhere near as bad as AoU, but then that wasn't a full-universe crossover, I suppose.
FF, Daredevil and the stupidly-titled Age Of Ultron #10 AI, where Waid and Andre Lima Araujo make Hank Pym seem amazing. Unfortunately they're not on the Avengers AI series it sets up.
