This thread seems like the right place for me to register my belated opinion that no one asked for. As the father of a beautiful young girl for whom I would destroy you all without hesitation, I would like to say that I do not find the joke offensive, because I understand what it was going for, and I understand that

I thought it was all right. I think I was in the right mood to watch it on the day that I did. I admit that part of me wanted [SPOILERS SPOILERS] the pervading creepiness to explode somehow and that I did not expect the credits to start rolling when they did, with nothing really having happened, but all in all it was

Some subprotozoan douche is being a dick to Tobias about the Onion's "cunt" joke, arguing in a depressingly stupid blog post that Scott should take responsibility for the Onion's tweet, and Scott is forced to take it seriously because it seems some people read the douche's blog.

And the "less"/"fewer" thing is usage, not grammar, meaning it's not a rule at all, but a convention. The only reason "less [plural noun]" is wrong is that lots of people believe it's wrong. Lots of other English speakers think "less people" sounds fine, though, and no one has trouble understanding it.

This thread is messing with my head. I'm still looking at the internet, right? Is this a new beta release? When's the full version coming out?

It gets weaker after the first few episodes, but I'm only on 9, so I can't say whether it gets better at the end.

This probably isn't the best place to post this, but I recently watched the first four or five episodes of the first season of Justified and did not get hooked, at all. I'm a fan of the other big critically acclaimed cable shows—Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, etc.—but I'm not feeling this one. I'm not much

SNL really likes their terrible music guys lately, but whatever—it's not like there are 1,000 qualified actors with comedic talent who would love the opportunity to host one of these weeks.

Just finished episode 3 last night (and blurring my eyes at this thread to avoid spoilers) and am also liking it a lot, which is a pleasant surprise because the critical consensus has seemed lukewarm. Spacey is awesome, the characters are all perfectly evil and/or morally ambiguous, and it goes all out in this

I knew that. Should've gone more over the top with my lame internet humor.

Little and less.

Little and less.

I did the same thing—read them straight through in a few weeks, and did not slow down one bit through the last two books. I do remember being a little disappointed when it dawned on me that FFC was what it was (the limited scope), and later I was disappointed because I had mistakenly inferred from the title of DWD

As a 31-year-old, I have made it a point of pride (kept to myself till now) to not know what Skrillex is. I think I first saw this word about three weeks ago, but from that day to now it has been everywhere. Now I gather from the first sentence of this Newswire that it's a DJ or something, so I guess game over.

The thing where the RSS feed is ahead of the front page for some reason?

Delightful narrative, mes frères.

I can't take any age-related meaning from this because I was 11 when the last album came out. As everyone knows, 11 is the age of meaninglessness.

Today in kendynamo farting news: kendynamo releases fart

I'm enjoying it on the first listen as well (also gladly purchased it—that was the most off-pissing internet security code ever because I suck at those things and I knew the site could crash any second) and am also doubly pleased knowing that it's probably a grower.
