There's no reason to tell him about the cluster of cells that she had removed from her body, regardless of his contribution. It would be foolish to tell him as he'd only resent it and/or try to stop her and it's happening anyway. Is that selfish? Possibly. Idiotic? Never.

She doesn't have to tell him about her private medical decisions and she doesn't have to have and raise a baby she doesn't want. That's unfair to her and everyone involved.
