Frankly, there ain't a darn thing wrong with recording big ol middle of the road pop music the masses love, working hard, having fun, and making millions playing it sold out arenas.  Naturally, it's better when the music is truly great, and the difference between Garth and another artist in the same pop country mold,

The main theme of the 11th Doctor's run is definately children. The child Amy being left for 13 years and her Pandorica return. Helping the child in The Beast Below, the child Melody Pond, Toby in Black Spot, taking the woman's child setting off her vengeance in Cold Blood, the Vampires of Venice wanting to raise

They are sort of dating. Fry's eyes when she ditches him and calls him platonic, he says he loves her in front of her. She tells him not to worry about him when he says he doesn't trust him. I think it was a gag.

We Hate You Now
You should be in it for the art, man. Keep writing and make your money by turning ticks. Then you can end hungry and dying from exposure while huddled for warmth at a bus stop. Sort of like in that Decemberists song. Man, is that a great song. Wait, what was my point? Oh yeah. Make your money.

It's SyFy's lowest rated Monday show, and some weeks throws under Ghost Hunters. It's the lead in, and a lead in can't be the lowest rated show. It's also not strong enough to move to another day.

Wow! Lesser known character actors! Let the speculation begin.
I'm hoping for a guest shot by David Paymer as Jim's sad sack uncle who is also an accountant and a Paul Dooley mini-arc.

January Release
A sure sign of quality and studio support.

Dumont had a great gift for understatement. The simplicity of her reaction is the key to the payoff because at the conclusion all eyes are directed, initially, to her. We expect her to get knocked down or bowled over, yet gag that has been building up is everyone falling out of the room. Switching to that end gag

This is one of the best articles I have ever read about Cons. It's also a fine piece about what it's like to try to become a working artist. Great work.

We have removed any visual attachment to the strip club next door.
Except for, you know, the actual physical attachment to the strip club next door.

I'm a school librarian and you are all right. The book is absofriginloutely fantastic, and most of the kids love it. If I was Brian Selznick and Martin Scorcese I'd find the person who cut this trailer together and kill them. I think Marty knows some guys.

The story style of 7's run seems to be the one that informs the current Doctor Who series the most.

All the chat about Minute to Win it and Double Dare, I'd like to give props to the originator of that form of game show, Beat the Clock. Even the challenges in Big Brother owe it a huge debt. http://www.youtube.com/watc… Catch these volleyballs in this plunger.

I wouldn't want to play one of the games that have something to do with chance or buzzer beating other than "Plinko" because at least on that you have the prize that got you on stage and maybe an ice cream maker. The idea that you do all that work to get on the show, go out west, and then are out on the first game

Pertwee is actually my favorite Doctor. I always felt that he became surlier as his time on Earth dragged on because it became more and more like imprisonment. Imagine being imprisoned on an beautiful populated island, say off the coast of Spain. Even if you enjoyed yourself for a while and liked it there wouldn't

The first few episodes were cleverly there to catch the kids. Once you get to the mid-point of season one things start to take off. From time to time, especially after heavy episodes - and it does get quite dark - they would throw in a kids joke of an episode or add a comic relief character. That's just the nature

A little old school
The use of Lenoard Cohen's "I'm your Man" in the film "Secretary" always creeps me out a little. The montage of Maggie Gyllenhaal willingly doing humiliating things for James Spader as part of a bondage/submissive relationship is shocking even if theirs is a mutual relationship.

Sadly, there are more narrative possibilities in Marshal not having a job.

Everything but nothing changed
The Doctor always loved and trusted his TARDIS on a very, very deep level. It would have been devastating if he had learned it hated him, so much so that it may have truly changed their dynamic. I'm not sure he would have loved "sexy" any less if that were the case but ot might have

First, it's a legitimate question in Hollywood. Until producers and casting directors decide to broaden their views, it will be. It is not due to reporters, but simply due to a lack of roles.
