My interest for The Expendables evaporated after I saw the PG-13 rating. Inexcusable. That's like making a PG-13 sequel to Basic Instinct.

Blame the Studio
This movie feels like it was floating around in development hell forever. It feels like it was written for Jack Black, Chris Farley or even John Belushi. They wrote a bunch of fat jokes for a guy who runs marathons in his spare time. The special effects make it look like it was made in 2001.
