true, but her rampant plastic surgery is self-imposed. Her looks have the same "desperately kept alive by machines" quality as her voice.

[Takes drink] "So yeah, you boys keep talking about how this stretch of season 5 isn't particularly memorable? You're damn right about that; I was shit-canned for a 19 of the 26 episodes. The last thing I remember is banging Michelle Forbes (it was strongly implied in the script, so I figured it's make for good on…
The reason we don't have any time travelers is that human life on earth is going to end on May 21 - or so the billboard on my way to work says.
Amen Brother. I play "I'm broke" several times a month for that very reason. "They Fuckin' me with no grease!"
Yeah I guess you're right. Her best moments were describing the borg's effects on her people, etc.
@George: Source on that "representative episodes" thing? That's distressing.
hate to pull rank here, but I've got the history degree to back me up, and Rowan doesn't know what he is talking about. Wilson is a complex figure in our history - the progressive racist; the moralizing internationalist - but to cast him as a headlong, self glorifying warmonger (ala GW Bush) is just wrong.
Guinan
Can we discuss Guinan's value? I'm surprised to find Zack hating on her so much.
I recommend you do what your parents did! Get a job, sir! Your revolution is over, Mr. Rabin. The bums lost!
Odd. Usually the jJews and the socialists - Marx, Engels, et. al - are on the same side…
I agree. Terrible argument. Shoulda spent more time in law school, slacker.
As much as I find Charlie Sheen to be a p.o.s, Alex Jones is by far the biggest horses ass in this interview and in general. At least Sheen has the coke to blame.
The other footnote is…
…that Elvis was a hack too. At least the Glee cast credits the original artists. Big Mamma Cass didn't get no love from the "king."
aleskel - you do recall correctly. That is a scholarly consensus I can confirm because I studied ancient epics in college. Why, you ask, would I do that? Well, it was because 12 year old me saw Darmok and thought that Gilgamesh thing sounded pretty cool and went and read it at the library. Thanks, Patrick Stewart!
Thanks Dunk. M-O-O-N - that spells Moon!
Adm. Ross in the Dominion War arc was always a good guy. Barry Jenner, I think?
Best TNG pickup lines
"Eternity Never Looked So Lovely"
Chico - I agree - not just the torture - Chain of Command is darker than most thanks to blatant disrespect between Jellico and Riker. I could never decide if Jellico was a bad guy or not - there is some ambiguity that makes for good drama. Set up the stage nicely for Pegasus later in the series, too.
I agree it's satisfying to give her character a more noble/badass end, but out-of-universe didn't Crosby leave in the first place because she thought she was too good for the show? Screw her. She deserved to be killed by that BP metaphor.
The problem with the Worf/Picard conflict in First Contact is that Worf forgives him too easily. "In fact, I think you're the bravest man I've ever met." doesn't really make up for calling Worf a coward.
