Seal, "Kiss From a Rose"

Scandal, "The Warrior"

LIVE, "Lightning Crashes"

They Might Be Giants, "They'll Need a Crane"

Urban Chipmunk was the bomb. It was a long time before I realized that the lyric in "The Gambler" was actually, "So, I handed him my bottle," not, "So, I handed him my Twinkie."

I always found it amusing in Skyrim that people would come to you with quests that were all, "ZOMG URGENT IF WE DON'T GET THIS ARTIFACT NOW WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE," and then you could go fuck off around the countryside doing whatever for what basically amounted to months of game time before completing those

Friends, there is no high like the rush of power experienced by a boy - no, at that moment, a young man - who has just purchased the soundtrack to 1986's Transformers: The Movie on cassette, and who has realized that he can now listen to "The Touch" by Stan Bush WHENEVER HE GODDAMN WANTS TO. Bonus points for the fact

You may ask yourself, is that the correct answer?
I think that would be the question.
But, continue, I’m listening.

2015: The year of the banjo.

The Raid 2, a disappointment? Insanity.

Maybe, but a few things that made it awesome: 1) The fact that the first two faces you see are that of a person of color and a woman, and 2) that last shot of the Millennium Falcon, with the fanfare…if that doesn't get the blood up at least a little bit, I don't even know what to tell you.

ZOMG, if I have to read one more time about how the lightsaber from the Star Wars teaser is "impractical," I'm going to pop a gasket. I mean, a) I disagree, but b) do you know what's impractical in the Star Wars universe? EVERYTHING. It's a frickin' laser sword. Sheesh.

Watching this film, I had to remind myself that the guy playing Doc was the same guy who played Freddie in The Master. Phoenix is really bringing it these days.

Paul Thomas Anderson movie ranking time, go!

If you're citing a Bleachers song, why choose the eminently flawed "I Wanna Get Better" when the damn-near-perfect "Rollercoaster" is sitting right there, begging to be loved?

RAIDSbes.

DA 2 better than Origins? You shut your whore mouth.

Yeah, that struck me, too. I don't know - maybe it's because I came up on CRPGs, but there didn't really seem to be anything cumbersome about DA:O's combat mechanics, to me. It just seemed like a natural evolution of what we got in Baldur's, et al.
