I'm not ashamed to admit this is my favorite DCFC song. Hearing this, I'm really glad they went in the direction they did - I think the percussion more or less makes the track. The fact that it starts with a snare hit on two is a nice little twist, and then there's the distinctive (at least, to my ears) way they use

"I like the music, I like the songs and I absolutely hate the vocalist."

This looks amazing but, as much as I hate to say it, I just have a really hard time getting over a non-Jim Henson voice coming out of Kermit. I know it's been 23 years since the guy passed, and all, but there's something about the way he did it that resonates with me in a way no one else's rendition has, yet.

Gonzo's method of hailing a taxi is the best. Every time I hail a cab, I say it the way he does ("TAXIIIIIII"), and no one I'm with ever gets it. I need new friends.

THANK YOU. I love The Muppet Movie, but I think the Great Muppet Caper is far and away the funniest Muppet movie made, to date.

If I only had the money to join the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race, I would ditch this crazy console whirlwind. As it is, I'm thinking of switching gears and going PS over Xbox this generation based on the fact that the Xbone's biggest selling point seems to be its integration with cable TV, which is something I don't

I live to see the AV Club eat this new site design…but I hope they leave enough room for my fist, because I'm going to ram it into their stomach and break their goddamn spine!

Don't mind Al Neuman. He's dead tired.

Yes, while holding his intestines to keep them from falling out of his ruptured abdomen. Good times.

Oh, wait, I found it. Wow, that was a lot more mysterious than it needed to be.

OK, seriously, is there no way to see all past episodes of a show, organized by season, in TV Club, now? So far, the only way I can see to get to past eps. is to page back using the "Previous" button, which is ridiculous. I know I'm not up on all this new-fangled Internet design stuff, but if there's a link for that

I am disappoint.

I had a creative writing class in high school for which we watched 1990 horror film Jacob's Ladder. The teacher of the course was a Vietnam Vet, and generally considered one of the "cool" members of the faculty, in that he actually knew anyting about pop culture at the time. He eventually went on to lose his job for

I was really into the mythology behind Justice prior to the retcon that removed the fantasy elements and basically made Tensen a delusional psycho. The whole Kingdom of Spring/Justice Warrior/sword-arm-and-shield-arm thing totally grabbed 11 year-old me, for some reason, to the point at which I had a dream of turning

And something as brilliant and original as Passing Strange closes after only five months. It's enough to make you feel like you're in the Pit of Despair.

I particularly enjoyed "The Auld Triangle." Ah, those harmonies.

Holy crap, is Gentlemen a great record. "When We Two Parted" slays me every goddamn time.

I've always loved "Could've Been Me" - it's pretty much the only BRC song I can stand, but I think it deserved more play than it got.

I guess it depends how you define "overrated." They have a legion of dedicated fans (and, yeah, I'm among them - "Alive" was the song that made me want to play music), but they also get plenty shit on, too; the Gawker network seems currently to be particularly enjoying calling the band dinosaurs.

Totally agreed. While Gish holds the title of my favorite Pumpkins record, I wouldn't say anything about Siamese Dream marks it as dated or played-out. Approached with a fresh ear, it's still pretty excellent start-to-finish.
