Oh, come on, really? Yes, it was mean - that's what Triumph bits are all about. Do you think Triumph the Insult Comic Dog - a hand puppet whose catch phrase is "For me to poop on!" is meant to be taken as a serious commentary on whatever subject he's skewering? Jeez.

Sisko.

Yeah, I agree. I was all set to read this with the same snark-inclined eye with which I approach most AV Club material, but then…boom. Right in the feels.

Ah, that's true! Sometimes I forget myself…and the lyrics to the National Anthem.

Passing Strange or GTFO. For anyone who hasn't seen this show, check out the Spike-Lee filmed final stage performance on Netflix Instant - it is, to my mind, the absolute best rock musical ever conceived (Hedwig runs a close second, but Hedwig is more a fantastic rock album with a story wrapped around it, whereas, in

Less than I'd like, but more than I'd hoped.

You're Dr. Jamison, man. Many, many babes are into that.

I'm sure he'll be questioning his own judgment…all the way to the bank.
