Thanks
BTW thank you Keith for posting this even though it is (I presume) your day off. I'm glad I got the news from you guys.

See all that stuff in there? That's why your Simpsons reference robot didn't work.

Simpsons reference robot! Dead?

Milwaukee was also declared the country's sexiest city in Marie Claire magazine. Everyone there seems really confused by that….

God help him….
i think Francis may have been referring to "Strange Fruit".

Okay, I give up. This is my final fit and my final bellyache.

correctionator-
Or else O'Neal wasn't making a reference at all (which is possible, even on this site) and he just happened to put the (pretty damn common) words "no surprises please" together without thinking about the Radiohead song. That's what Louis Cannon and I were wondering.

That's what I thought too….

I love the bit where he steals the glass from the jewelry display window.

"Trout fishing in Quebec"
I've seen a good number of movies on this list and I've enjoyed most of them but honestly none of them can usurp Take the Money and Run in my heart. Objectively I know that Crimes and Misdemeanors and Annie Hall are better films but I'd rather watch TtMaR any day of the week.

As long as they don't play "On Eagles' Wings". I was baptized as a Catholic but I think I'm going to be buried as a Baptist just for some decent church funeral music.

Secret Garden
Granted, it is a sad song, but I'm not sure if people see it that way. I think it is often associated with the love scene in Jerry Maguire (and that stupid remix) and as such is thought of as more of a romantic song than a sad one. Unless, you know, you actually listen to the lyrics.

"Boy. That was the best..scavenger hunt ever."
One of the best lines in the history of the show. I love it when the characters have to come up with excuses or explanations on the fly.

The Wire got a writing nomination. To me, that's one of the few awards that still mean something. The nominations are usually stellar (I believe that it was the only main category that even acknowledged Buffy) and they actually pick the best script every once in a while (David Milch, Darin Morgan, the writing staff

I can see that. He must be hard to write about at this point.

Not that I'm complaining exactly…..
But are you really not going to review When You Are Engulfed in Flames?

I think about the Giles mini-monologue a lot. I think it was one of the reasons I became a librarian. It articulated my feelings about books so well.

Well…
I guess we can close the file on that one.

The Stephen Hawking story….
According to Matt Groening (or someone else who worked on the Simpsons when they did the first Stephen Hawking episode and then subsequently did the commentary track) Chris Carter burst into the recording studio, jammed an "X-Files" hat on Hawking's head, took a picture with him and then

Yeah, that was what I meant. Was Bayliss the "fourth chair" or did he go to jail? I was really sincere about that question.
