Bummer. If the new one is tonally similar to Ultimate Spider-Man, I doubt I'll be checking it out.

That's unfortunate. It's not quite up there with Batman: The Animated series or Justice League, but it's been one of the better super hero cartoons ever put out (certainly the best Marvel's done, for my money).

@avclub-d568f77a3275c114d8ad3a3082a0e172:disqus I promise. Any time Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis are on-screen/high together, shit gets funny.

My girlfriend and I concluded that the show should have just cut out the detective stuff and focused all plots on the three guys getting high and wandering through Brooklyn. They had excellent chemistry together, and outside of Henry Pollard getting high in the bathroom in that one Party Down episode, I've never seen…

Agreed. Season 1 suffers from the fact that Ray and George don't even meet until the 7th episode (or somewhere around there). Once they get the band together, the hilarity increases greatly.

Did you leave the studio lot with it, or was it shipped to you? If it was shipped, would you mind describing the breathless anticipation you…

Seriously. I'll take CK's standup over Seinfeld's, but come on. 20 episodes of mostly funny, refreshingly honest (though too often navel-gazey) short films vs. 7 seasons of landmark comedy gold (I don't hate the last two seasons of Seinfeld, I just don't hold them to the same level) isn't yet worth discussing.

Are you in Pennsylvania, or have you miraculously found Cherokee Red outside of the Keystone State?
