Hmmm…. You know… there is a series in the story of "Dracula". I don't think I'd do it like this show is doing it but it is there… Take the story, set it in turn of the century (turn of the 20th century) US, and mix in generous helpings of "Dark Shadows" and it could be a fun prime time soap…

For me it's "The Shining" - there is one scene where Danny goes to get his toy from his room and Jack is just sitting on the bed than rotates only his head to look at Danny… with that look on his face… It freaks me out every time I see it.

Wait wait wait… "Flowers for Taco"? Agents of Shield does an episode titled "The girl in the flower dress" and It's always sunny in Philadelphia has an episode titled "Flowers for Charlie"? Within a week of each other?

I skipped "Mousetrap" since that was the era he was also in "The Birdcage" and, while the movie was actually kinda good, I was just over his particular typecasting.

I had not seen that. Actually, I haven't seen much of "The Good Wife" (Mainly because I keep forgetting I have Amazon Prime and it's on that… which is my fault). What I have seen of it is a really good show and he might have been better used on that.

Here's the weird thing : Nathan Lane is a really really good actor and can be funny. And I actually think I might like him on just the personal level. And every time I see him onscreen - whether here or in 30 rock or in any of a number of other TV shows or movies - I cannot stand him and his mincing persona. Literally

Theory : Coulson is an android created by Hank Pym. The same Hank Pym that will be Ant-Man soon and would be the person who creates Ultron… It would make sense to have him put a friendly face on an early version of his work if SHIELD wants to field test his tech…

Same here - yeah, I watched the Howard Stern movie but this was the movie that made me notice who Giamatti is…

I stumbled upon this movie in one of those Blockbuster "Lets sell some pre-rented DVDs" sections and decided to give it a chance - I was glad I did. It's a brilliant movie that is well worth watching…

There will always - ALWAYS - be a need for this type of show and PBS.

My cat's name is Mothra… because she was (when younger) colored slightly like the giant Godzilla monster and she did tend to break things like a monster invading Tokyo…

When it comes to teaching math… whatever happened to Square One TV and Mathnet? That was an awesome show…

I am going through season 3 on Netflix and I have come to the conclusion : Could everyone except for Michonne and (perhaps) Glenn and Maggie please die? I am tired of the Governors only vaguely threatening act, tired of Andrea (beyond tired of her), Sick to death of seeing Darryl be the countries popular racist hick

That sort of depends on which side of the line you are on, doesn't it? To Palestine, she would be an "Activist" to an Israeli she is a "Terrorist". Same with the split in the abortion debate - to the pro-choice side, those who kill doctors that perform abortions are insane monsters - the the anti-choice side (Or… to a

"And where did Xoanon’s idea to create the two tribes come from in the first place?"

I have to say… this is the only third Doctor story that I have ever been able to really get into. I think Pertwee and his era was great, don't get me wrong. But I just have never, ever, been able to entirely jell with his version. It's just played too straight. Of course, I also don't particularly like "The Avengers"

I hate to say it because i really like the character and actor (And the fact that he is dead makes me feel like I am about to speak ill of the dead) but… The character of Dr Franklin never made a huge impact on the show as a whole. He was great as basically the conscience of the show but once the show switched gears

Facts of life had a very simple formula to it : Every episode either Blair or Joe would "Learn to be a little like the other" and Natalie and Tuti were there for some vague jokes… By the later years the two units of Natalie/Tuti and Blair/Joe weren't even interacting anymore.

I remember seeing this episode when I was a child when it was originally aired… And I have to say, it bothered me. I mean, I get that it was about a pedophile and all and that is troubling in and of itself but there is another dimension that made me mildly scared as a kid : Mr Horton. He's a nice guy. He's a nice guy

Hmmm… I am pretty far behind on this because, well, I forget that episodes are piling up on Amazon. I mean, I read the write up and think "Hey - I have a few episodes to watch!" and then 5 minutes later forget that the show exists.
