I just got done watching Scrubs for the first time (using netflix) this weekend. I have to say - those first 8 seasons were remarkably strong. Not every episode was perfect of course, but taken as a whole the show didn't really sputter as much as might have been expected - usually shows run out of gas around season 5…

I have this same problem sometimes… Watching "Misfits" I sometimes am completely baffled by how old or young the characters are supposed to be. Turlough strikes me as a person who looks just a few years too old to be in school - university perhaps, but not boarding school.

This show needs to decide what it wants to be. It can't be the old "Office" anymore - sorry. So does it want to be a copy of that old show or does it want to mutate a bit? Here's the facts : Jim, Pam and Dwight worked perfectly well in the Micheal Scott era of the show. They don't anymore in this era. Get rid of them.

I kinda like the longer reviews…

Do they still have to repeat what the acronym "EVP" stands for at least four times an episode?

How come nobody ever remembers to list "Childs Play" when they list Dourif's career?

"You don't want to be treated like a skank… don't act like one."

Go in blind - just marathon it. Assume you aren't going to "Get it" the first time through. Think of it like a David Lynch movie but with more frenetic pacing in that way. Then stop and think and watch it again… Trust me.

Ahhh… The Freemasons are discussed again in this episode. That means that it is like every other episode of this show I have seen (Watched it on netflix recently). While it's all good beer and pretzels fun, what I have seen of it is that Meltzer has a definite itch when it comes to them… Pretty much every episode that

When it comes to Dr Who I suspect many people will express hate mainly as a knee jerk reaction… Especially from any fans of the original series or fans of past Doctors. My opinion is that my favorite Dr is the one I am watching at the moment but there are those that will say "Anything after XYZ was crap" (XYZ being

Have to agree. "All good things" was one of the first times I saw a show close it's run "Just right"… It was upstaged by an even better ending to Babylon 5 but I can forgive that because, well, B5 was designed that way and TNG wasn't, so TNG's closure was probably the harder trick to pull off.

I am not sure if I agree with your summation of "A nice place to visit"… True, the promise of "Boring" is not the worst fate to expect in the afterlife, but at the same time I am not really sure that was the true horror of Rocky's fate. The true horror was in the very fact that his wishes were so small-potatoes. Think

Perhaps it is one of those DC Magic things where the virus affects "Men" because they have a certain mindset? Obviously J'Onn identifies himself as male even if he is a shapeshifter and could be female… Which then means questions would arise about gay women, but the DCAU doesn't have that particular thing in it so we

"Was The Twilight Zone the first meta TV show?"

Say's something doesn't it? That "The Simpsons" has devolved to having one of it's most memorable jokes be a fart joke…

That's right - I had forgotten about "Fido" - and I really liked that movie too. As I remember "Children shouldn't play with dead things" ends not entirely bleak too…

I can think of a ombie movie that is unquestionably a zombie movie with a happy ending - "Shaun of the dead".
