"This has been the writers' fair. Ha ha. Good night, everybody! Good night! I mean, everybody back to class!"

I loved that scene too! She had such a cool and detached way of letting Zoe know her place. She really got into her head in those few minutes. It was kind of pathetic to watch Zoe go back to Frank and Claire's house and try to reclaim her dignity somehow.

You know what? I had the same thought at first, because it seemed so out of character with the nature of their relationship. But I think what the show was trying to depict was the fact that she is changing (willingly or not) and he's not changing at all.

As the season has gone on, I've grown to love Claire. I disliked her intensely during the first two episodes, but she's become my favorite.

I've seen the whole season. Don't worry. It's only a spoiler if it's true. The comment above you is not a spoiler.

I, too, loved that part. I actually answered for Claire and told him to "Get out". Then when she said it, I was like "Exactly." What a tool.

If you told me that so I wouldn't jump out of a window, mission accomplished.

Yes! I forgot about "CASSINGLE" on the covers! I also had quite a few "MAXI SINGLE" CDs. Ah, the '90s.

Okay, this is even more embarrassing. Casette tape. Yes, I am aware that CDs were out then. No, I don't remember why I bought it on cassette. And to add to the disgrace, I got it at a Wal-mart, one of the last places to give up on selling singles.

I had it when I was a teenager (posted above), but I got rid of it in the great audio cassette purge of 2005. It's probably still a good pop dance track; I'm more embarrassed that I was so attracted to him at the time.

I actually bought that Jordan Knight single back in the day.

I love how they keep repeating each other's titles after every sentence.

Wiki'd and you are absolutely correct. I repent in sackcloth and ashes.

Two things:

Busta downplays his skills for commecial appeal. He is actually an incredibly talented lyricist and spitter - he's just better known for the comedic stuff. And I completely disavow any work from his post-locs days.

"Beat It" was a riff on West Side Story and why kids should NOT try to be tough. The whole song is about why acting "tough" is not the move, which is good because Mike and tough do not mix.

Henery Hawk. Henery Hawk is the little chickenhawk. But the dog steals every scene in any Foghorn Leghorn cartoon.

I love Quiz Show. It's stacked with some of the best actors of that time at the very top of their game. And Ralph Fiennes was just breathtakingly beautiful. My 11-year-old self was actually disappointed when I saw that the real Charles Van Doren was much, much less so.

"Do you know the names of those planes?"

Yes. She is unspeakably lovely in that ep. It makes the pairing of her to her ridiculously cruel husband all the worse.
