Scott Pilgrim is definitely a generational thing. Everyone I know who was a teenager when it came out loved it, but even only being a few years older I hated all the characters.

As much as I don't like Scott Pilgrim as a film it has a really unique and well-executed visual style which really could have bought something new and interesting to the MCU, but instead it seems like Marvels going to make another bland slice of blandness.

They were both a million times better than the river of turds the other guy has made.

And it shows, the positive critical reception for that film was, is and shall forever remain baffling to me. It's HDTGM? level bad. The only thing that sets it apart from Daredevil are the special effects, which like all special effects will age horribly. Time will not be kind to that film.

Unconfirmed, he was pretty seriously injured though. Usually with unconfirmed kills it means they're alive. Say what you will about GOT, they always kill the important characters on screen.

I was personally really hoping for Sharkurricane. They could do a scene in the eye of the storm where sharks are just flying in a huge circle around them.

Hah, I'm guessing you haven't read the comics, because the Joker pretty much does just that. He not only kills two Robins, but tortures and cripples Bat-girl and you're forgetting a pretty major plot point of TDK too.

That was the dumbest move Danenyrus has made since the start. Even dumber than rescuing the gypsy woman.
